My name is Kara and I am the owner and creator of Siena Style. I’m a mom with two children- 3 & 6 years, so life is busy! I’ve always known I wanted to run my own business and create products that are stylish and unique, but practical. I was led down the path to creating Siena Style through multiple facets of my life, specifically, my father working in concrete and my husband being of Italian descent. With that, I’ve combined the two to make concrete decor with an Italian style inspiration.
My interest in Italian art was peaked on a trip to Italy 18 years ago. The use of marble, terrazzo and terracotta have always been beautiful to me. I’m having a fun time creating different styles incorporating these. Along with concrete, I also use Jesmonite, an eco-friendly resin.
The name Siena Style lovingly comes from both an Italian city in the Tuscany region and my first born daughter.
